Jamie started at age 18 as a manager for Sohio Oil Co. in the Stonecreek location at I-77. Over the years he managed locations at Uhrichsville, West Lafayette, and was the manger of the I-77 and SR36 unit in Newcomerstown for 10 years. During the ten year period at Newcomerstown he owned and operated Hicks Wrecker Service.
In early 1990 Jamie sold the towing business and came to the Dover/New Philadelphia area. Jamie leased two locations from BP Oil at South Broadway New Philadelphia and Third and Wooster in Dover. After BP Oil Co. decided to close the Dover location Jamie purchased the Shell Food Mart at Chestnut in Coshocton which he operated with his wife. In July of 1998 Jamie opened Automotive Performance where Gary Brill and Bob Morgan joined him from the BP operations. In May of 1999 Jamie sold the Coshocton operation to dedicate all his energy and resources to the growing Automotive Performance business.
Vehicle Repair: We perform all types of Auto and Truck Repairs, from bumper to bumper. We feature a complete line of tires and batteries. We also do front end alignments, engine diagnostics, computer diagnostics, air conditioner service, and we rebuild or replace engines and transmissions.
